Fade Out Night Light 1.0.1

This application was developed with the intention of assisting my infant daughter in falling asleep. While searching for an iPad solution, I was unable to find an app that functioned as a simple night light with a gradual dimming feature. Consequently, I created Fade Out Night Light.

Fade Out Night Light is a minimalistic tool designed for a singular purpose: to progressively dim the display until it is black, then allow the device to lock automatically.

The app's interface includes:

• A single button to select a background: plain screen, water ripple effect, or expanding circle animation
• Three sliders for user control: Red Intensity, Fade Duration, and Time Remaining
• A Start/Stop toggle button

The Red Intensity slider enables the addition of a red tint to the white background, reducing blue light exposure to facilitate better sleep.

The Fade Duration slider allows the user to set the timer for gradual dimming, ranging from 1 to 60 minutes.

The Time Remaining slider displays the remaining duration and gradually decreases to zero once the timer is activated.

Upon pressing start, the interface controls fade out, leaving only the Time Remaining slider visible. This design permits quick adjustment of brightness levels or extension of the timer if necessary.

Throughout operation, the device's sleep mode is disabled to maintain continuous illumination. Once the countdown concludes and the screen is fully darkened, auto-lock is re-enabled to conserve battery life.
